Massachusetts Client, Linda Bianchi, is in the News

It seems like we’ve been awarding a lot of donated cars to residents of Springfield, Massachusetts lately. The western Massachusetts city is full of good people who are working hard to make forward progress in their lives. A lot of these people are only missing one key thing — a reliable vehicle.

A few months ago, our client Maria, was in the news on Springfield TV station WWLP News 22.

More recently, we had the pleasure of awarding a donated car to Springfield resident Linda Bianchi. We learned that Linda was working with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission to find jobs for her fellow seniors in the community. Her car is critical to her job, which involves traveling from one employer to another to help find her neighbors good jobs. In a way, Linda’s car is not only moving her forward in her life, but making it possible for her to put others on the road to self-sufficiency.

The Springfield Republican published a story about Linda that explains how her Good News Garage vehicle is helping her pay it forward. You can read the online version of the article here: https://www.masslive.com/living/2020/11/my-whole-life-changed-springfield-resident-receives-car-from-nonprofit-good-news-garage.html

We wish Linda all the best and are looking forward to helping more Springfield residents in the future. The more donations of cars, trucks and vans that we receive, the more neighbors we can help. Please consider donating your old or unused car. We will come to pick it up for free, and you’ll qualify for a generous tax deduction.
